I haven't paid attention to the day, I guess (I thought it was in March), but it was more as a tip of the hat, and wishing you good luck!
Don't tell me the Ottawa user group was just a one-time night event and it's all over? :)
So free publicity is still welcome, no? ;)
On a more serious note, I have my hands full, so I wouldn't have time to organize a group here, nor attend.
On a related note, a few co-workers have ordered some XO laptops at the same time I did, last November.
They still have not received their XO laptops, and many e-mails and phone calls leading to nowhere (rather, in conflicting directions, just like you were told), so they canceled their orders.
I can't blame them.
Sigh...
